Getting close to Christmas

Well, it's Monday yet again.

I think I have my Christmas shopping done with the exception of my son and stocking stuffers.

Under alot of pressure the last few days. Going to a lot of meetings. My new nephew (born Dec 5th) is back in the hospital. They are going to run some tests today. A GI and a brain scan as they don't know what is wrong with him. He was only 4 1/2 pounds when he was born so I have been praying alot for him.

More later.

Mid week

Well, I went to take pictures of the Lightning McQueen afghan that I completed, along with the Holiday RAOK package that I received yesterday and whomever used my digital camera last didn't shut it off. Sooo, the batteries were completely dead. Grrrr.

I charged them overnight and it looked like they were good to go this morning as I was getting ready for work. I will (hopefully) get the pictures taken tonight and posted tomorrow.

Hm, it's winter

Well, let's see.

I have finished the Lightning McQueen blanket for my nephew for Christmas ... whew!
(I will take a picture tonight and post it tomorrow)

I have almost finished the school bus lapghan for my son's bus driver. I am just waiting for Kainnon to let me know what Linda's favorite colour is so I can edge it in that colour.
(Hopefully I will finish this tonight as well and get a pic online)

I am a little off today. My sister-in-law is scheduled for a c-section at 11:30 this morning and I am just praying that everything goes well.

TGIF

Well, it's finally Friday.

It is pouring cats and dogs here in Toronto. The weekend doesn't look like it's going to be much better weather-wise. Good time to lock myself inside the house and crochet until my fingers fall off.....LOL

I have been in contact with the Hospital for Sick Children here in Toronto and have asked them if they require blankets/preemie caps for their NCIU. The answer was "yes!!!"
I have contacted my local Walmart to see if they would be willing to donate the wool in order for me to make these items for the hospital. We will wait and see.
